WILLEMSTAD - Following the launch earlier this year of Corendon's new cruises to the Caribbean, Corendon has been inundated with requests. The applications exceeded the expectations. Already more than 1,000 bookings have been received within two weeks of launch. Corendon's travel office in Curaçao even opened extra due to the crowds and additional information days were scheduled. A cruise-expert from Corendon in Holland was for several days on Curaçao to assist with information-session for interested travelers.
“We had counted on a few hundred bookings within a month, but that has become more than 1,000 within 2 weeks. It seems like all of Curaçao wants to go on these cruises,” explained Atilay Uslu, founder and owner of Corendon.
The cruise ship Rennaissance is currently in planned dry dock for a facelift and renovation to be completely ready for the new cruise season.
Corendon, as previously reported, will start cruises in the Caribbean in November 2025, in cooperation with the British Ambassador Cruise Line and French shipping company Compagnie Française de Croisières. The cruises will visit islands such as Guadeloupe, Barbados, St. Vincent, St. Maarten, Grenada, Antigua & Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, Aruba and Bonaire. All cruises depart from the port of Curaçao, the only cruise where travelers can board in Curaçao.
Scheduled sailings are on:
Nov. 19 and 29, 2025,
December 10, 20 and 31, 2025,
January 10, 21 and 31, 2026,
