WILLEMSTAD - Starting this Tuesday, KLM will reduce her flights from Amsterdam to Curaçao and back to one per week. The weekly flight was announced already since end March 2020, after the daily Boeing 747-400 was retired. But due to high demand for cargo and passengers stranded in Curaçao, Bonaire, and Aruba, the second flight a week was introduced based on demand.
There are no flights from Amsterdam to Bonaire nor Aruba since end March. Passengers from the two islands can still reach Amsterdam via Curaçao by using local carriers like Divi or EZAir, which both offers direct wing-to-wing connection on the KLM flights. There are no restrictions for passengers from the ABC islands to travel to the Netherlands. However, your returning flight must be monitored since the ABC islands are not allowing passengers from the EU, including the Netherlands to enter the islands. KLM tickets can be purchased online at www.klm.com.
The weekly KLM flight is set on Tuesdays, arriving at 16:50 and leaving back to Amsterdam on Wednesdays at 18:20. The Boeing 777-200 is scheduled for the flights.
