WILLEMSTAD – On Friday, February 21, the brand-new Kunuku’s Waterworld was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Gilmar ‘Pik’ Pisas. This spectacular new addition to Kunuku Aqua Resort offers a unique water experience featuring five new slides within a massive 1,200 m² pool. The waterpark is a fantastic enhancement to both the resort and Curaçao’s recreational offerings, promising fun for all ages.
To mark this special occasion, Kunuku Aqua Resort invited ten school classes (grades 3 to 8) from various schools across the island to attend the official opening. The young guests had an unforgettable day enjoying the new attractions.
With the launch of Kunuku’s Waterworld, Kunuku Aqua Resort is setting a new standard for water fun on the island. The expansion adds even more excitement and entertainment for both locals and tourists.
“We are incredibly proud of this addition to our resort. Our goal is to provide families with a unique experience where they can enjoy endless fun together,” said Wout Tieleman, owner of Kunuku Aqua Resort.
In addition to the new waterpark, the resort recently upgraded its Children’s Paradise and fully renovated its first-ever waterslide. The addition of arcade machines and other new facilities ensures there is plenty to enjoy beyond the water as well.
