WILLEMSTAD - TUI Curaçao celebrated the grand opening of its expanded office building on Schottegatweg this past weekend. The newly constructed floor and the restyled travel agency on the ground floor were officially unveiled in the presence of approximately 100 guests. 

The travel organization now employs 155 staff members. With this expansion, TUI has 99 workstations and a new training room for employees. 

Sustainability was a key focus during construction. Insulating and sun-blocking glass has been installed to reduce air conditioning usage, while natural light minimizes the need for artificial lighting. Additionally, 164 solar panels now provide a significant portion of the building's energy needs.
