WILLEMSTAD - Marie Pampoen is thrilled to unveil its Kindness Rock Garden, a unique community space where creativity meets compassion. People of all ages can paint rocks with uplifting messages, encouraging quotes, or cheerful designs, and add them to the garden. Visitors are then welcome to take a rock that speaks to them, leave one of their own, or simply enjoy the colorful display of goodwill.

Our slogan says it all:
"Take one for inspiration, share one for motivation, or leave one to help our garden grow."
This project was inspired by a birthday idea from local artist Jahina Helmijr, a passionate advocate for spreading kindness. Where all attendees painted their version of Kindness and artistic rocks. Jahina envisioned a community where a small act of participation sparks a ripple of positivity across our island. In line with her vision, the Kindness Rock Garden invites everyone to "paint our island with kindness."

Come visit us at Marie Pampoen and be part of the movement. Whether you leave a rock, take one for inspiration, or simply enjoy the garden, your participation helps this heartwarming project grow. You can find the Kindness Rock Garden at the ocean front behind the playground. The garden is open from October 28th, 2025.
Drop by, share your creativity, and join Jahina in turning her birthday idea into a lasting legacy of kindness for Curaçao. #kindnessrockprojectCuracao
