WILLEMSTAD - On Thursday, August 15, Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), in collaboration with Carnival Corporation, organized a special event for the local community for the second consecutive year. Forty young people from various neighborhoods in Curaçao were given the unique opportunity to board the cruise ship Carnival Celebration, which was docked at Mega Pier Tula. 

The youth received an educational experience that included an extensive tour of the ship, culminating in a lunch on board. 

The Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Ruisandro Cijntje, was present and accompanied the young people throughout the day. 

CPA remains committed, in collaboration with cruise lines, to developing initiatives that actively engage the local community in the cruise industry.
