Z Air to welcome first E140 aircraft to its fleet

WILLEMSTAD - Z Air has announced that it will soon receive its first Embraer E140 aircraft. The regional jet, which recently appeared in the airline's livery, is expected to be delivered to the Caribbean shortly.

The E140, registration N841AE, is a 22-year-old aircraft owned and managed by Regional One. It has a seating capacity of 44 passengers in a single-class configuration. According to ADS-B data, the aircraft last flew from Amarillo Rick Husband International Airport to Carbondale/Murphysboro on November 12, and was later spotted in Carbondale with Z Air’s livery on November 19.

“We are excited to announce that our very first Embraer E140 is nearing completion and will soon join the Z Air fleet. This is a significant step forward as we prepare to enhance connectivity and services from the ABC islands—Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao—into the broader region,” the airline shared on social media.

N841AE is the first of two E140s to be incorporated into Z Air's fleet. The aircraft is expected to begin service with Medellín José Maria Córdova as its first destination. Z Air's three existing Saab 340B(Plus) aircraft will continue operating primarily on flights between the ABC islands.
