UPB supports its commissioner accused of fraud
WILLEMSTAD - The political party UPB from Bonaire wants its commissioner, Burney Elhage to remain in office. The politician was accused in a mortgage fraud case, but UPB is not concerned about the case.
According to the Green Party this whole situation is the fault of the "Good Governance Foundation" which started a witch hunt against the Party. Elhage, If found guilty, probably will have to resign seeing that the Netherlands will not accept a person convicted of fraud as a government official.
