Eleven new officers take oath

WILLEMSTAD - Two aspiring police officers and nine extraordinary officers have taken an oath to serve and protect the country, in the presence of demissionary Minister of Justice Stanley Betrian. During the ceremony, Betrian stressed on integrity, fairness and objectivity while exercising their functions.

The two aspiring agents will now begin their internship. Two officers go to work at Selikor at the Department of Environmental Police. An officer, from the Department of Control and Security, will be appointed as Department supervisor and Deputy Director for one year. The remaining six agents will start working at customs.
