Old inventory of Sionsberg in Dokkum to Curaçao

SionsbergDOKKUM, WILLEMSTAD - The inventory from the demolished part of the Sionsberg goes to Curaçao. The Help Curaçao Foundation helps the local St. Elisabeth Hospital (Sehos).

The Dokkum medical center recently announced that it would demolish part of the old hospital in order to build care apartments.

Part of the inventory of the demolished part is now on its way to the 'Sehos', as the hospital is called in Curaçao. The Foundation Help Curaçao has been going on for a year and a half and is trying to provide hospitals and schools on the island with good material.

Sionsberg says that the donation ensures that no "expensive investments" are needed in the hospital on Curaçao. Sam van Dommelen from the foundation Help Curaçao: “From curtain rails to cupboards to good tools: we are very happy with it. This means a lot.”

The foundation calls on Dutch hospitals to send superfluous material mainly to Curaçao. "Much more is needed."
