Hastings eliminated after loss to Curacao

WILLIAMSPORT - The Hastings Little League team’s time at the Little League World Series has come to an end. Playing as Canada’s representative at the annual international little league tournament, Hastings fell 4-3 to the Caribbean squad from Curacao in Monday’s elimination game in Williamsport, Pa.

The Canadian team held a 3-1 lead going into the top of the fifth inning, before Curacao scored three runs, capped off with a solo home run off the bat of Mychellon Jansen.

Noah Hanson-Stafford hit a two-run homerun for Hastings in the bottom of the fourth inning.
