CTB launches new promotional campaign: “Curaçao’s hidden treasures”

Online campaign2(oct2014)WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) in the Netherlands has launched its new promotional campaign to attract the attention of the people in Europe on the island's hidden treasures. Title of the campaign is: “Expand Your Horizon”. This campaign concentrates on giving the future visitor the idea that Curaçao has more than sun, sand and beach. Curaçao has more to offer. This campaign will be on social media, popular blogs and also websites.

A campaign like this is important because not all future visitors are aware that Curaçao has a diversified product to offer. As part of the campaign, CTB will illustrate the history of the island, the radiant colors of the Caribbean sea, the people, music and the local cuisine. In this active way, CTB will focus on a specific group. The new website will be central in the campaign. All information portrayed in the campaign will be linked to the new website. The website gives a unique preview of all Curaçao's landscapes and scenery and also information that are relevant for the future visitor.

The ultimate purpose of the campaign Expand Your Horizon is to inspire the future visitors to come visit Curaçao, because they already got to experience what the island has to offer. The campaign focuses primarily on young professionals and the elderly.

The campaign started at the beginning of this month and will continue till the end of this year. It will be executed in cooperation with M2Media.
