It is official, Kura Hulanda becomes Sonesta Kura Hulanda Village

WILLEMSTAD – The General Manager of the Kuranda Hotel, Mrs Jeanette Bonet, made the official announcement during the recent press conference organized by the Minister of Economic Affairs. Kura Hulanda Hotel is now officially the Sonesta Kura Hulanda Village & Spa Curaçao.

This is a very positive development for the tourism sector on the island. According to Bonet, they are doing their utmost to ensure that Kura Hulanda is recognized as a Sonesta hotel. “This is for the hotel in Otrabanda. We are hoping that Sonesta International will come before the end of this year to inspect the lodge in Bandabou so it can also carry the Sonesta name,” Bonet said during the press conference.

“Kura Hulanda is not a hotel anymore. It’s a village. We want to illustrate the village in Otrabanda experience. This village has been converted into an accommodation whereby both the tourists and locals can stay,” Bonet said.
